          Journal of Dental Hygiene -- The official journal of the American  Dental Hygienists'
                Association.  Journal articles are free to dental hygiene students, if they have a
               membership in the association.
 
            RDH [Registered Dental Hygienist] -- "The national magazine for dental hygiene professionals."
 
            More than 900 journals – full-text articles at NO charge
 
          Free dental hygiene articles from Belmont Press.  The current issue appears at the home page.  In the upper right corner is the word "Archive."  When clicking on this word, you have access to the previous issues, from 2003 to the present.  All issue are searchable from this link, and all articles are complete and in full text.  
 
            PubMed Central [not to be confused with PubMed, listed below] -- is the "U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature."  More than 1.5 million articles are available in full text format.
 
        High Wire Press from Stanford University gives free access to nearly 2 million full-text articles in the scientific fields  There are a large number of journals related to the dental sciences.
  
            Some of the journals included are "open access" -- peer-reviewed articles that are FREE.
 
 
            FreebookCentre.net -- provides links to both textbooks and journals in the fields of dentistry and dental hygiene.
